Each applicant is required to submit personal references/evaluations before being considered for a position. Also, each potential staff member and current staff members are processed through an official national background check.
The selection and screening of our staff is an important part of our safety policy. Every year Fort Bluff interviews many applicants in order to fill several specific new summer staff roles. We do not take lightly the calling to find the best and safest staff. Our entire resident staff team prays for the recruiting and hiring of these students throughout the entire year. |
Due to an increased amount of applicants each year, Fort Bluff Camp is able to be selective in our summer staff hiring process. Our directors are able to select staff members that have a love for God and a love for kids, spiritual maturity, good work ethic, and a commitment to Fort Bluff Camp’s vision and mission.

All staff sign a policies and procedures agreement to be followed throughout the duration of their employment.
