T.W. Francescon Jr.
T. W. Francescon, Jr. grew up in the Chattanooga, Tennessee, area, having graduated from The McCallie School in 1995 and from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) with a bachelor’s in general management and human resources management in 1999, and a master’s in business administration in 2002. Following his undergraduate degree, he started with Southern Champion Tray (SCT) in 1999. SCT is a manufacturer of paperboard packaging, with divisions in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Fairfield, Ohio; and Mansfield, Texas, with team members throughout the United States and customers in 20 countries. T. W.’s first position was Safety Coordinator, followed by a brief stint as 1st Shift Production Supervisor before moving into the role
of Human Resources Manager for their Chattanooga divisions in 2003. He has served in various corporate leadership positions at SCT, with his current role being Director of Culture & People Experience, where he
enjoys working alongside 900+ coworkers, in a business that focuses on people, values, and culture. He has had the privilege of being involved in the Paperboard Packaging Council, the leading trade association for the
paperboard packaging industry, where he currently serves as the Human Resources Committee Chair.
T. W.’s favorite titles are follower of Jesus Christ, husband to Laurel (of almost 20 years) and dad to Thomas, Noah, and Bella. His hobbies include: spending time with his family; working out; and serving our community. He has previously coached Thomas and Noah’s little league baseball teams and was involved with Bella in the Adventure Princess father / daughter program through the YMCA. He currently serves as an elder at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, the Chattanooga Area Leadership Prayer Breakfast Team Chair, the Signal Mountain (S. M.
Robertson) Police and Fire Christmas Fund Chair, United Way of Greater Chattanooga’s Campaign Cabinet member, and the National Federation of Independent Business Labor Advisory Council member.
