summer staff

Summer Staff Details:

A summer at Fort Bluff promises to be one of the best of your life. Not only will this summer grow you spiritually and challenge you more than almost anything you have ever done, but we will pay you for it, too! Benefits include:

  • Lodging and meals are provided throughout the summer, except for meals during time off.
  • Competitive weekly salary for resident summer staff.

Staff Expectations:

Safety

The safety of our campers and staff is extremely important to us. To ensure the highest level of safety, all staff will follow Fort Bluff regulations regarding curfew, automobiles, and will be prohibited from the use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, or any dangerous drugs while camp is in session and during time off. If you are struggling with an eating disorder or any other issue that may keep you from safely performing your job please delay applying until you have experienced full healing.

Appearance

We know that many great college students exercise their freedoms to dress and act with creativity. However, many parents do not want their adolescent children to do the same. Therefore, in our desire to avoid causing conflict between parents and their kids, we have chosen to take a conservative approach in our dress, appearance and behavior. We limit our freedoms in order to impact the most kids and parents possible for Christ.

Unity

With a number of summer staff,  full-time employees, and thousands of campers every year, our ministry represents many backgrounds. To promote “the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” we ask our staff not to teach, promote or practice interpretations of any doctrinal issues, which have historically acted to bring disunity and division within the body of Christ. Once again, we choose to limit our freedoms in order to impact the most students and parents possible for Christ.
