The Bluff Overlook
Fort Bluff Camp is located right on the edge of Dayton Mountain in Dayton, Tennessee. From The Bluff Overlook you can see sweeping views of over 100 square miles of the Tennessee River Valley and Smokey Mountains.
Many groups use space near The Bluff for small group sessions or individual sessions. It's also a lovely setting for professional photography sessions, including graduation, anniversary, or family photos. If you are interested in using The Bluff Overlook as the setting for your professional photography session, please contact the office at 423-775-0488 or [email protected]. The cost is $60 for one hour and is dependent on availability*. You must contact the Fort Bluff Office at least 2 days in advance of requested date and time. Full payment and a signed Facility Use Agreement will be required in advance.
*Please note that Fort Bluff does not supply the photographers or equipment; the $60 only provides access to use The Bluff Overlook as the setting. The $60 is non-refundable. In the event of inclement weather, you can reschedule the photoshoot with the Office.
Due to safety concerns, any type of access to The Bluff Overlook is only available by appointment and during business hours (Monday to Friday from 8:30-4:30 pm EST, closing Wednesday at 4 pm EST). This includes only wanting to stop by for a few minutes to admire the view, apart from a professional photoshoot. If you do not have an appointment during business hours, you will be asked to vacate the property. This is for the safety of all involved, no exceptions will be made.
